Apply to join a Public Panel

You can apply to join a Public Panel by downloading the application form at the bottom of the page. Please make sure you have read the 'what we want from you' section on the Public Panel page before applying.

Additional information can be found on our frequently asked questions page. We are currently inviting members of the public to join the group in Scotland.

Please ensure your application reaches us by 31 January 2010. If you are shortlisted then we will invite you for an informal conversation during the week of 8 February.

How to fill in the application form

1. Download the application form and save it on to your computer
2. Answer the questions that are relevant to your application
3. The grey background indicates areas of the form where you can input text. You may want to write and spell check this in a separate document and then copy and paste it into the application form
4. Simply click on a checkbox to select it. This will place a cross in the box
5. Save the completed form and email it to publicpanel@ips.gsi.gov.uk
