IPS has announced a competition for the provision of Front Office Services in connection with the National Identity Service.
IPS today announced a competition for the provision of Front Office Services in connection with the National Identity Service. This competition is advertised in the Official Journal of the European Union and can be found here http://ted.europa.eu/
The concession is divided into two lots. The first lot is for the provision of biometric recording, and the second lot is for all the other Front Office Services which are, assisted application, view services, maintenance and product collection. Interested parties can express interest in one lot or both lots.
The competition will be for service providers who can provide national coverage. Interested organisations may choose to form consortia that offer the required coverage. Technology providers may choose to partner with others in order to participate in the competition.
More information on the competition can be found on the Home Office/NPIA procurement website at www.npia.bravosolution.co.uk. Organisations must register their interest by 11 January 2010. This does not commit an organisation to enter the competition.
