Moving to Directgov

22 October 2008

Over the next few months information about passports, the National Identity Scheme and the General Register Office will be moving onto the Directgov website. This is part of a project called Transformational Government, which aims to design and deliver public services around the needs of the citizen rather than that of government departments.

The study
The study asks you to sort a number of cards - representing different types of content - into piles where you would expect to find them.

There are four parts to this study, if you have time, please complete all four. The study is anonymous.

  • Births, deaths, marriages and civil partnership content - this is currently provided by the General Register Office (GRO)
  • Passports content - this is currently provided by the Identity and Passports Service (IPS)
  • Identity cards content - this is currently provided by IPS
  • A mixture of content including all the above on Directgov

By giving us your insight, you can help us improve the organisation and structure of our content for passports, identity cards, GRO services and Directgov.
