The Identity and Passport Service is only able to issue and service UK passports for British nationals who are resident in the UK at the time of application. We cannot accept or deal with passport applications from people who are applying outside the UK. We are also unable to answer queries from British nationals living abroad. These issues should be referred to the Foreign and Commonwealth Office.
