If you are required to attend an office make sure you go to the correct office. Failure to do so could result in you missing your appointment and your application being delayed. This office is for first-time adult passport customers who are attending their passport interview

By road

From the North:
Head south on the A74(M) and exit at junction 15 onto the A701 towards Dumfries. Fro Edinburgh Road, continue onto Academy Street and turn left onto Loreburn Street (A780). Follow the road round to the left onto English Street and take the 2nd right onto Annan Road. Take the 2nd exit at the 1st roundabout and 2nd exit at the 2nd roundabout onto Brooms Road. The interview office is located on the right hand side.
From the South:
Follow the A74 north and leave at junction 22 to head west on the A75 towards Dumfries. Take the 1st exit at the roundabout onto the A780 Annan Road. Take the 1st exit at the roundabout onto Brooms Road (A756). The interview office is located on the right hand side.

By Rail

Using the north exit from the railway station onto St Marys Street. Cross the road onto Cornwall Mount, walk to the roundabout and turn left onto Annan Road. Cross to opposite side of street and at the mini roundabout, turn right onto Brooms Road and the interview office is located on the right hand side. From the south exit of the station turn left and walk to the junction, turn left onto St Mary’s Street and follow directions above.

By Bus

Buses arrive at Whitesands, Dumfries. From here, keeping the river on the right walk to the end of Whitesands, turn left onto Brooms Road. Continue along Brooms Road past the Fire Station, under the railway bridge and the interview office is the second building on the left.

Parking

There are no parking facilities at the interview office. Parking is available in the surrounding area.

Office facilities

The interview office is wheelchair accessible. There are no toilet facilities available at the interview office.
