If you are required to attend an office make sure you go to the correct office. Failure to do so could result in you missing your appointment and your application being delayed. This office is for first-time adult passport customers who are attending their passport interview

From South:
Approaching Inverness from the south on the A9, follow the A9 down the long hill approaching the city and take the exit signposted Hilton/Culduthel. At the Inshes roundabout, go directly ahead onto Sir Walter Scott Drive (between Police Headquarters and Tesco store, signposted Hilton/Culduthel) Carry straight on over the next two roundabouts. At the third roundabout (Slackbuie) turn left into Fairways Business Park. Lyle House is the first office building on your left.
From North:
Approaching Inverness from the north on the A9, continue to follow the A9 south over the Kessock Bridge and take the exit signposted Culloden/Croy. At the traffic lights turn left. At the Inshes roundabout, continue as above.
From East:
Approaching Inverness from the east on the A96, at the Stoneyfield roundabout take the first exit on the left onto the A9 south. Once on the A9 south take the exit signposted Culloden/Croy and follow the directions from the north.
From West:
This route will avoid the city centre.
Approaching Inverness from the west on the A82, follow the A82 into the city. At the first traffic lighted crossroads turn left into Kenneth Street (signposted Beauly/Perth/Aberdeen), at the next roundabout (Telford Street) turn right over the bridge, (route signposted Town Centre/Longman Industrial Estate). At the other end of the bridge, follow sign to A9. Follow the dual carriageway proceeding straight on at the next two roundabouts. At the Kessock Bridge roundabout turn right onto the A9 south. Proceed south and take the exit signposted Culloden/Croy. Continue as per directions from the north.
By rail
Inverness station is in the city centre approximately three miles from the interview office. A taxi is therefore advisable, or it is a short walk to Union Street where you can catch a bus.
By bus
Inverness Bus Station is in the city centre approximately three miles from the interview office. A local bus service operates from Union Street in the city centre every 20 minutes between 07.25 and 18.38 hours Monday to Saturday (Service number 5). You should get off the bus at Fairways Business Park.

Limited parking is available outside the interview office, spaces are marked ‘IPS’.
