From North West M20/ A20: Exit the M20 at junction 5. Continue onto A20 heading towards Maidstone. You are encouraged to use the Park and Ride as parking is difficult in Maidstone. To continue stay on the A20. Keep in the right-hand lane, then bear right onto the A229 (signposted Hastings). Bear right onto Lower Stone Street A229 (signposted Hastings, Bearsted). At the traffic signals turn left onto Mote Road A249 (signposted Sheerness).
From North M2/A229):
Leave the M2 at junction 3 (signposted Chatham, Maidstone). At the Taddington Roundabout take the third exit onto the A229 (signposted Chatham, Rochester). Continue on the A229 heading towards Maidstone. At the roundabout take the second exit onto the A229 (signposted Town Centre, Hastings). Keeping in the right-hand lane continue onto Fairmeadow A229 (signposted West Malling A20). Bear right onto Lower Stone Street A229 (signposted Hastings, Bearsted). At the traffic signals turn left onto Mote Road A249 (signposted Sheerness).
From South A274/A229:
Follow the A274 to join A229 at the Wheatsheaf public house. Continue on the A229 into Maidstone. You are encouraged to use the Park and Ride as parking is difficult in Maidstone. To continue driving, bear left at Sheal's Crescent (A229). Continue onto College Road (A229), then bear right into Palace Avenue. Keeping in the right-hand lane (signposted Hastings) bear right onto Lower Stone Street (A229 signposted Hastings, Bearsted). At the traffic signals turn left onto Mote Road A249 (signposted Sheerness).
From South East M20:
Exit the M20 at junction 7. At the roundabout take the second exit onto the A249 (signposted Maidstone. At the roundabout take the second exit onto Bearsted Road A249 (signposted Maidstone). You are encouraged to use the Park and Ride as parking is difficult in Maidstone. To continue driving, at the roundabout take the first exit onto Sittingbourne Road (A249 signposted Maidstone Town Centre). Entering Maidstone, at the traffic signals continue onto Sittingbourne Road ( A249 signposted All other routes). Turn left (one-way) onto Andrew Broughton Way (A249). Keep in the right-hand lane then turn right onto the A249 (signposted All other routes). Keep in the left-hand lane and turn left onto Wat Tyler Way (A249 signposted Hastings), continue into Mote Road.
From East A249:
Leave the M2 at junction 5 (signposted Maidstone, Sheerness, The West). At the roundabout take the first exit onto the A249 (signposted Maidstone). Pass Kent County Showground (A249), continue down Detling Hill (A249). At the roundabout take the second exit onto the A249 (signposted Maidstone). At the next roundabout take the second exit onto Bearsted Road A249 (signposted Maidstone). You are encouraged to use the Park and Ride as parking is difficult in Maidstone. To continue driving, at the A229 (signposted Town Centre, Hastings). Keeping in the right-hand lane continue onto Fairmeadow A229 (signposted West Malling A20). Bear right onto Lower Stone Street A229 (signposted Hastings, Bearsted). At the traffic signals turn left onto Mote Road A249 (signposted Sheerness).
From West A26:
Heading towards Maidstone on the A26 join the A20. Keep in the right-hand lane and bear right onto the A229. Stay in the right-hand lane to keep right (signposted Hastings). Bear right onto Lower Stone Street - A229 (signposted Hastings, Bearsted). At the traffic signals turn left onto Mote Road ( A249 signposted Sheerness).
By rail
Maidstone East station is approximately a mile to the north of the interview office, about a 10 minute walk or a short taxi ride. Turn right out of the station onto Week Street. Cross over the High Street/King Street and continue down Gabriel’s Hill into Lower Stone Street. Turn left into Mote Road. From Maidstone West station, turn onto Broadway, then right into Bishops Way. Continue along Palace Avenue and into Lower Stone Street. Turn left onto Mote Road.
By bus/on foot
From the bus depot in The Mall, head south towards Romney Place. Bear right onto Wat Tyler Way and take the immediate right into Mote Road.
Parking facilities
There are no parking facilities at the interview office. The nearest car park is a short stay car park, in Mote Road approximately 150 yards from the interview office.. There are regular Park and Ride services signposted from South, East and North West and a number of car parks in the vicinity of Medvale House.

There are customer toilets in the waiting area.
