By road

From South
Leave the M60 at junction 6, then at the roundabout take the 4th exit and join the M60 motorway (signposted M60 Ring Road (N), Trafford Park, Liverpool, Bolton, Leeds). Leave the M60 at junction 7 (signposted Altrincham), then turn right onto Chester Road - A56 (signposted A56 Stretford). Head towards Stretford and then follow signs for Manchester City Centre. From Deansgate - A56 turn right onto Great Bridgewater Street, then bear left onto Chepstow Street, turn left onto Portland Street and then turn right onto Chepstow Street, turn left onto Portland Street. Westminster House is located on the corner of Portland Street and Aytoun Street.
From North
Leave the M62 at junction 19 (Middleton, Heywood), then take the 4th exit at the roundabout to join the M62 and continue on to the M60. Leave the M60 at junction 17 and take the 1st exit at the roundabout (Prestwich, Manchester City Centre). Continue on the A56 (Bury New Road) through Whitefield, Prestwich and Salford. From Deansgate – A56 turn left onto John Dalton Street (A34), and then bear left onto Princess Street. Turn left onto Portland Street. Westminster House is located on the corner of Portland Street and Aytoun Street.
From East
From the M60 roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A57 (signposted Manchester City Centre). Bear left onto Manchester Road - A57, through Gorton, continue onto Hyde Road - A57 through Longsight and into Manchester. At roundabout take 3rd exit and continue on A6 Piccadilly. Turn left onto Portland Street. Westminster House is located on the corner of Portland Street and Aytoun Street.
From West
Leave the M62 at junction 21, then at roundabout take the 3rd exit, then join the M62 motorway (signposted Manchester), continue onto the M60. Leave the M60 at junction 17, then at roundabout take the 1st exit at the roundabout (Prestwich, Manchester City Centre). Continue on the A56 (Bury New Road) through Whitefield, Prestwich and Salford. From Deansgate – A56 turn left onto John Dalton Street (A34), and then bear left onto Princess Street. Turn left onto Portland Street. Westminster House is located on the corner of Portland Street and Aytoun Street.

By rail

The nearest train station is Piccadilly Railway Station a 5 minute walk away. From the station, leave at the main entrance/exit onto Station Approach and continue ahead, turn left onto London Road. At the cross roads, turn left onto Auburn Street, and then right onto Aytoun Street. Walk along Aytoun Street to Portland Street. A free bus service runs from the Picadilly entrance/ exit into the city centre (Services 1 and 3). A taxi rank is also located outside of the station on Fairfield Road. By Tram

By bus

On foot

The entrance to the interview office is located on the corner of Aytoun Street and Portland Street. A concierge is on duty. There are lifts and stairs to the third floor. Please use the intercom system to gain access to the interview office.

Parking facilities

The nearest car park is the NCP on Major Street, situated to the rear of the office. There is also a Park and Ride scheme in Manchester. Please refer to GMPTE website for details.
