If you are required to attend an office make sure you go to the correct office. Failure to do so could result in you missing your appointment and your application being delayed. This office is for first-time adult passport customers who are attending their passport interview

Directions to the Newport Interview Office:

By road

Please note: IPS also has a regional passport office in Olympia House approximately 200m away, also in Upper Dock Street. Street signs direct people to this office. Please make sure you go to the correct office or you may miss your appointment.

By rail

The railway station is approximately 10 minutes walk from the interview office. From the station follow the signs to the Passport Office in Olympia House which is also in Upper Dock Street. The interview office is approximately 200 meters past the Passport Office

By bus

Chartist Tower is situated opposite the bus station in Kingsway.

On foot

The interview office is located in Chartist Tower, which as a landmark is the tallest building in Newport. It is easily accessible by foot, car, coach and train. The main entrance to the interview office is on Upper Dock Street.

Parking facilities

The most convenient parking is an NCP car park opposite the train station, signposted as you enter Newport. It is accessed via Castle Roundabout which is immediately prior to the train station. From here follow signs to the Passport office. Continue 200m past Olympia House. Chartist Tower is on the right hand side.
