If you are required to attend an office make sure you go to the correct office. Failure to do so could result in you missing your appointment and your application being delayed. This office is for first-time adult passport customers who are attending their passport interview

By road
By rail

There are rail services from Tyndrum, Dalmally, Taynuilt and Connel. Please contact National Rail Enquiries on 0845 7484950 for details. On departing the station, customers can take bus no. 405 from the stop outside the Bank of Scotland to Lorn and Islands District General Hospital which is across the road from the interview office. If walking (takes approximately 25 minutes) turn right into Argyll Street. Walk in a southerly direction onto Combie Street carrying on to Soroba Road. At the fire station roundabout turn right into Glengallan Road. Take the next right and the interview office is on the right hand side of the road.

By bus

There is a regular bus service from Oban bus station. Take no 405 bus from outside the Bank of Scotland to Lorn and Islands District Hospital.

On foot

From Combie Street/Soroba Road turn onto Glengallan Road at the mini roundabout near the fire station. Take the next right and the interview office is situated on the right hand side of the road.

Parking facilities

There is ample free parking, with disabled bays at the front of the interview office.

Full disabled access and public toilets in the foyer.
