If you are required to attend an office make sure you go to the correct office. Failure to do so could result in you missing your appointment and your application being delayed. This office is for first-time adult passport customers who are attending their passport interview

By road
By rail

Exit Reading station using the main entrance, cross Station Hill and follow Station Road ahead. Cross straight over Friar Street continuing on Station Road (which is pedestrians only) to the end of the road. In front of you is John Lewis turn left, and continue along Broad Street which turns into King’s Road. The office is about 2 minutes walk on the right just after you pass Reading Central library. It is the only building which has blue windows and is opposite the Rural Payments Agency. The total walk will be around 9 minutes.

By bus

The bus station is beside the train station so walk to the main entrance and use the above directions

On foot

The main entrance is located on King’s Road. The interview office is on the first floor. There is a concierge on duty in the foyer.

Parking facilities

There are no parking facilities at the interview office. The nearest car park is on Queen’s Road, over the bridge, south of the office or at the train station 10 minutes walk away.

Disabled facilities

The interview office can is on the first floor and can be accessed by wheelchair (via the lift) and stairs.
