If you are required to attend an office make sure you go to the correct office. Failure to do so could result in you missing your appointment and your application being delayed. This office is only for urgent passport renewals. I.e. for customers who need to travel in less than two weeks.

Planning your journey to the Newport passport office (new window)

The Newport office is in the city centre. It is well signposted and is within easy walking distance of the main bus and train stations.

By bus

All buses that go to Newport city centre will take you to the bus station. The passport office is a two-minute walk from here.

By rail

The train station is at Queensway. Follow the signs for the passport office, which is a five-minute walk away at the back of the main shopping centre.

Taxis are available at the station.

Parking

The office does not have on-site parking, but there are several NCP car parks within easy walking distance.

Monday to Friday 8.00am-5.00pm
Saturday 9.00am-3.00pm
