IPS strike action: 23 July to 25 July

The PCS union has notified the Identity and Passport Service of its intention to ask members within IPS to take strike action for three days from Wednesday 23 July until Friday 25 July 2008.

IPS regional offices and the Interview Office Network will maintain a service to the public and keep any inconvenience to a minimum.

All IPS regional office counters will remain open and we are able to issue passports for those in emergency situations or with urgent needs.

Any customer who has booked for premium services or an interview will have the appointment honoured.
