By road

From the North (A1):
Upon nearing Berwick-upon-Tweed, go straight ahead at the roundabout onto the A1167 Road. Continue ahead onto Castlegate. At the roundabout, continue ahead onto Marygate past the Town Hall then right onto Hide Hill. At the bottom of Hide Hill turn left/ahead into Sandgate. Continue ahead under the Sandgate Arch towards the waterfront. The Chandlery can be found by turning right on the Quayside.
From the South (A1):
From the A1, take the second exit at roundabout onto the A1167, Sunnyside, in the direction of Berwick-upon-Tweed. Continue ahead onto Main Street passing Tweedmouth, then ahead onto Prince Edward Road. At the roundabout, turn right onto the Royal Border Bridge towards Berwick-upon-Tweed. Remain on the A1167, continuing ahead onto Golden Square. At the roundabout, take the third exit onto Marygate. Continue ahead down Marygate past the Town Hall then right onto Hide Hill. At the bottom of Hide Hill turn left/ahead into Sandgate. Continue ahead under the Sandgate Arch towards the waterfront. The Chandlery can be found by turning right on the Quayside.

By Rail

Berwick-upon-Tweed railway station is 15 minutes walk away.

By Bus

Buses run from the station to the town centre (Golden Square).

On Foot

From Marygate, the main street through the town, walk past the Town Hall to Hide Hill. Turn into Hide Hill and proceed down to Sandgate, through the arch of the old walls to the main car park, this is Quayside. The office is in the Chandlery, on the far side of the building in the middle of the car park next to the small harbour.

Parking

Pay and Display parking is available in the immediate vicinity of the interview office.

Office Facilities

The interview office is on the ground floor and is wheelchair accessible. The interview office accessed by intercom on the door.
