If you are required to attend an office make sure you go to the correct office. Failure to do so could result in you missing your appointment and your application being delayed. This office is for first-time adult passport customers who are attending their passport interview

By road

From the North (M1):
Head South on the M1 and at junction 28, take the A38 exit to Derby. At the first roundabout, take the slip road to A61 (Alfreton Road). Continue on the A61 straight at the roundabout to Sir Frank Whittle Road. Continue to the Pentagon Island and turn right onto the A601 Eastgate. At the Cockpitt Island roundabout continue straight ahead onto Traffic Street. At the roundabout continue straight on to Bradshaw Way. At the next roundabout take the road leading to Charnwood Street. At the traffic lights go straight on, following the round to Mount Street and Burton Road. Green Lane car park is situated on the left hand side. The interview office is situated at the bottom of Green Lane on the right hand side.
From the South/East (M1):
Head North on the M1 and at junction 25, take the first exit toward Derby on the A52. Continue on the A52 into Derby, Eastgate. Bear left onto the A601. At the Cock Pitt island go straight ahead onto Traffic Street. Go straight over the roundabout on to Bradshaw Way. At the next roundabout, take the road leading to Charnwood Street. At the traffic lights go straight on, following the round to Mount Street and Burton Road. Green Lane car park is situated on the left hand side. The interview office is situated at the bottom of Green Lane on the right hand side.
From the North/South West (M6):
Heading South on the M6 toward Birmingham/Chester/M56, at junction 15, exit toward Stoke-on-Trent/Stone/Eccleshall/A500. Continue on the A50 and turn off at junction 4 onto the A38. Turn off at the first flyover and take the third exit off the roundabout onto Rykneld Road (A5250). Continue on this road becoming Burton Road, turning left onto Green Lane. The interview office is situated at the bottom of Green Lane on the right hand side.

By Rail

Derby Central Station is approximately 30 minutes walk from Stuart House. Turn left out of the station entrance, walk to the traffic lights. Turn right onto London Road and proceed down London Road. Cross over the road at the big traffic island and continue along London Road onto St Peter's Church Street. Turn left after the church onto St Peter's Church Yard. At the end turn right onto Green Lane. Stuart House is a modern brick building on the right.

By Bus

A regular bus service runs from Derby town centre to the Park and Ride service at Pride Park/Wyvern Business Park. From Corporation Street in the town centre walk across the market place, keeping the Assembly Rooms on your right. Bear left down Cornmarket, turn right onto Victoria Street, cross the road, and turn left onto Green Lane. Stuart House is a modern brick building a short distance on the left.

By Foot

Stuart House is a modern brick building, opposite to the Soul Café and Deli. On entering follow the signs for lift/ stairs to second floor. The interview office is accessed by the intercom on the door.

Parking

There is a multi-storey car park at Westfield shopping centre on Traffic Street, at The Cockpitt Island, and one at the top of Green Lane.

The interview office is wheelchair accessible.
